பேஸ் புக் இஸ்லாத்திற்க்கு எதிறான செயல்களை தொடர்கிறது. மிகவும் பிரபலமான சில இஸ்லாமிய பதிவுகளை எந்த காரணமின்றி நீக்கிவிட்டது. “I love Mohammed” மற்றும் ‘Quran Lovers’ என்ற பிரபலமான பதிவுகளை நீங்கிவிட்டது. இதற்காக பேஸ் புகின் CEO விற்க்கு கண்டனம் அனுப்பப்பட்டது. உலகில் 2.5 மில்லியன் முஸ்லீம்கள் பயன்படுத்தும் பேஸ்புக் இனிவரும் காலங்களில் மிக மோசமான நஷ்டங்களை எதிர்னோக்க நேரிடும் என்று அந்த கடிதத்தில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளது. நண்பர்கள் நம் எதிரிகளால் நடத்தப்படும் பேஸ்புக்கை தவிர்த்து இஸ்லாமிய பேஸ்புக்குகளில் இனைந்து நம் ஒற்றுமையை நிலைனிறுத்த அழைக்கிறேன்.


2.5 million Muslim Facebook users threaten exit

More than 2.5 Million Muslim users of the social networking site, Facebook have threatened that to exit the site after the company removed certain Islamic pages that were very popular among them.

A warning has been given through an open letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The letter demands the re-initiation of four Islamic pages including the ‘I love Mohammed’ and ‘Quran Lovers’ that were famous among Muslim users.

The letter accused the CEO of "ignoring the feelings of more than 2.5 million Muslims."
It read, "Although you have attended the world's best communication skills courses you have been most successful in growing great hatred and hostility between you and Muslims around the world, but seriously this time you have caused an almost unrepairable damage."

The letter also demands that a new rule should be introduced which prohibits posting anti-Islamic comments. Along with reinstating the four deleted pages the letter also demands that the site should ban any page displaying Islamic religious symbols and disable any page that does so in future.

A Facebook official has responded by saying that the pages were removed not because of their content but because they were used to spam users. The spokesman said that the company does not have spam pages which are against its rules.
The letter says that if its issues re not addressed the Muslim users will exit Facebook and join Madina.com, a social networking site specially created for the Muslim community.
